Planning your wedding starts with defining a feeling.
The way you will feel as you see the love of your life for the first time that day. The way your guests will feel as they gather at your ceremony, the hugs, the scents, the sounds; the seamless flow from the ceremony to cocktail hour, to the beautifully set up dinner, to dancing and late night snacks to keep the party going. Little surprises as one environment reveals itself after the other. The venue, the food, the drinks, the music, the table settings and flowers - every single detail will work together to evoke that feeling.

I am so incredibly lucky to have the dreamiest job on the planet. I get to work with the loveliest couples and help them create truly magical experiences, and I have to pinch myself daily that I get to plan and design these experiences for a living.

A little about me

Learn about me entry

I was born in Latvia but moved to Ireland after I fell in love with an Irish guy.

When I married him nine years later, we celebrated our wedding for a week in the deep countryside of Latvia. This is when I truly fell in love with that unique magic of destination weddings.

I used to half-own a hostel in Riga in my early twenties.

Most of all in people I value kindness. And a sense of humor.

I learned floristry from my grandmother. She was a self-taught gardener who sparked my passion for dreamy floral design.

I live in the sleepy seaside town of Dungarvan with my husband, and our amazing little daughter who keeps us busy and entertained.

I love gardening, reading, whipping up a fancy Sunday brunch for friends, or pottering about town, lazily enjoying baby chinos with my toddler in the lovely local cafes.

I have a background in interior design. This explains my passion for beautifully executed events and my design approach to planning weddings.

There are only a few things I love more than seeing the delighted faces of wedding guests as they step into a perfectly designed reception room for the first time.

My favourite wedding moment is when the bride walks down the aisle. I cry. Every. Single. Time.
